The purpose of Lindy Lab is to provide our community of dancers with an affordable, friendly, inspiring place to practice Lindy Hop and improve quickly through collaborative efforts and lots of social dancing rather than through a series of structured classes.

Lindy Lab will follow a loose structure, allowing tons of time and space for indiviuals or small groups to focus and practice whatever they want. Our Lab Scientists will also provide semi-spontaneous group instruction for line dances such as the Shim Sham, the Big Apple, Al Minns Shim Sham, Tranky Doo, and the Jam Cellar's Gangbusters routine. When someone requests Lab Time to teach one of these dances, an email will be sent out with date start-time and duration. One hour (or more if we feel like it) of Lab Time will be dedicated to the dance each week until it is complete.

Lindy Lab is only five bucks for three hours of dancing and collaborative awesomeness! You can pay at the door or purchase a 4-Lab Punch Card for $20 at the bottom of this page. Punch Cards do not have to be used consecutively, and they never expire. People with unused punches on their old Swing C'ville cards may trade them for Lindy Lab punch cards.

One old Swing C'ville punch equals two Lindy Lab punches. Ex: if you have ONE unused punch on your Swing C'ville card, you will receive TWO Lindy Lab punches in exchange.

Note: This offer does NOT apply to punch cards given to CoS Volunteers. Your punch cards may be traded for an equal number of Lindy Lab punches. One for one, two for two, etc.
